The Griffin's Head is the village pub. It is believed to be over 300 years old and is a listed building in the conservation area of Papplewick. It is named after the symbol which appeared on the coat-of-arms of the Montagu family - who were major landowners in the area until the 20th century.

The Village Hall comprises of the Evelyn Gray Hall, which has a capacity of 200 and the Bradbury Suite, a comfortable lounge/bar area with a capacity of 50.
There is also a well equipped kitchen, plenty of parking and a cleaning package which will allow you to relax and enjoy your evening.
With regular uses everyday of the week we have various classes that you can join, ranging from Yoga to Bridge.
